For a remedial massage, our therapists will guide you what to undress depending on your issues and also your level of comfort. Underwear MUST be kept on all the time.
The therapist will provide appropriate draping to ensure your modesty, covering all areas of the body except for  the part that is being worked on. It is important that the therapist has direct access to the skin and muscles to effectively apply their techniques. However, if undressing makes you uncomfortable, speak to your therapist about alternatives, such as wearing loose-fitting clothing that can be easily worked around or through.

Absolutely, remedial massage is considered highly beneficial for a variety of conditions. It’s worth it especially if you are dealing with chronic pain, muscle tightness, or recovering from injury. Remedial massage can enhance physical recovery by improving circulation and reducing muscle tension, which in turn can decrease pain and improve mobility. Additionally, the tailored approach of remedial massage can also lead to better posture, reduced stress levels, and an overall improved sense of well-being. For those seeking relief from specific physical conditions, remedial massage is a worthwhile investment in health and mobility.

A remedial massage session is a structured approach to massage therapy. It begins with a thorough client consultation and assessment to identify any health issues and the areas of the body that require attention. Based on this assessment, the therapist will tailor the massage techniques to address your specific issues.

During the massage, the therapist may use a combination of techniques such as deep tissue work, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching. The techniques are chosen based on their ability to improve blood flow, release tension, and promote healing in the targeted areas.

The session can vary in duration but typically lasts around 60 minutes. After the massage, the therapist may offer post-treatment advice such as exercises or stretches to do at home, as well as a follow-up plan to ensure long-term benefits and recovery.

It depends on the condition. Please inform us of any health issues or concerns you may have when booking your appointment, so we can provide appropriate accommodations or determine if a referral to another health professional is necessary.
